Andrews & Company was founded in 1978 by our managing partner Jonathan Andrews. Jonathan started in the cleaning industry in 1969. He spent 10 years managing for two major New York-based janitorial firms. When Jonathan worked for Temco Inc., he was responsible for hundreds of employees and millions of square feet of office, retail, and industrial space. In 1980 Jonathan achieved the Certified Building Service Executive designation from the Building Service Contractors Association International, the industry’s trade association.
Jonathan founded Andrews & Company because his experience was that some of the largest firms focused on what he felt were the wrong things. He wanted to focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Jonathan believed that quality of contracts and work was the way to create a strong customer base and create organic growth.
At Andrews & Company, we have become involved with many organizations throughout the years to further our knowledge and professionalism. We are a member of and/or certified with the Building Service Contractors Association (BSCAI), the Philadelphia Chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA) and the Institute of Inspection Cleaning Restoration Certification (IICRC).
Our dedicated team works together to insure all our customers a high level of service. Due to the strength of this team, Andrews & Company has never had a contract terminated prior to its completion date.
Operations have grown from our base in New Jersey to New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and Florida. Customers include offices, retail stores and colleges. We take pride in our responsiveness, flexibility and expertise. |
